Assemble at the airport and depart for Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
Once you arrive, make your way to the town of Fussen and see the Neuschwanstein Castle (view of the exterior only). It is one of the most popular castles in Europe. The biggest draw is the Neuschwanstein castle, which was built as a place of retreat for the King Ludwig II, and transformed into a medieval dream world filled with all of his longing and ideals. Thereafter, drive on to Wattens and stop by the Swarovski Crystal World, a glittering fantasy world housing the world’s biggest crystal, before proceeding to Salzburg for the night.
Discover the beautiful setting of the famous film “The Sound of Music” in the city of Salzburg. Waltz through the lush gardens of Mirabell Palace, and visit the birthplace of the famous classical music prodigy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at No. 9 Getreidegasse. Continue on your walking tour to the Old Town of Salzburg to admire the ensemble of baroque and medieval buildings, and drop by the magnificent Residence Square with its beautiful fountain. Transfer to Hallstatt, a village in the Salzkammergut, a region in Austria. It is located near the Hallstätter See (a lake). In the evening, head to the ‘city of music’, Vienna. We recommend an optional concert at any of the famous concert halls for your evening’s enjoyment.
Embark on an unforgettable excursion to the romantic capital of Austria, Vienna. Step foot into the renowned Schönbrunn Palace and revel in the stunning interior of the massive 1,441-room baroque complex – think white porcelain tile stoves, exquisite bohemian crystal chandeliers and white-lacquered ceilings and walls covered in gold leaf ornamentation. Then, continue to the glorious Ringstrasse with its wealth of parks and monuments, the State Opera house, the majestic Reichsrat Parliament Building and Rathaus (city hall), and the Hofburg Imperial Palace. End the day with a visit to one of the most important Gothic structures in Austria – St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Afterwards, carry on to Budapest, the capital of Hungary for the night. Along the way, visit the Designer Outlet Parndorf for a spot of shopping
Get to know the true culture of Budapest, also known as the ‘City of Baths’ through a guided city tour that will help you pack as much as possible into your exploration of the city. The first stop of the tour is the renowned Matthias Church, one of the oldest buildings in Budapest with over 700 years of history and frescoes created by famous Hungarian painters. Next, head up to Gellért Hill for some of the best panoramic views of the entire city. Continue on to Fisherman’s Bastion for a view of the beautiful turrets, see the impressive Heroes’ Square and the Millennium Monument located in its middle, and stroll along the fashionable shopping street, Váci Utca. In the afternoon, enjoy a Danube Cruise lunch. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner while being entertained by a Hungarian folk show.
Start your day with a scenic drive to Kraków. Cross over the border into Slovakia and travel through Donovaly and past the Tatra Mountains. Proceed to the renowned Wieliczka Salt Mine, a world class monument of Poland that was added to the UNESCO’s World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Steeped in several hundred years of history, the mine was worked on by tens of generations of Poland miners. Embark on a magical journey through the saline labyrinth to learn more about the history and traditions of Wieliczka, and get a closer look at the various salt formations and deposits.
Take a trip out of town to the infamous Auschwitz Concentration Camp for a historical tour. Auschwitz was Nazi Germany's concentration camp, its main purpose was to carry out the extermination of Jews through forced and demanding labour, mass executions, and human experiments. In 1979, Auschwitz was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2007, UNESCO named the camp "Auschwitz - Birkenau German Nazi concentration and extermination camp (1940-1945)". Embark on a half day walking tour of Kraków and see its captivating medieval structures. Visit the Gothic-Renaissance Wawel Royal Castle, and venture down to the historic Old Town to explore Europe’s largest market square along with medieval houses, palaces and churches. Marvel over the spectacular interior of St. Mary’s Basilica and the medieval masterpiece of the Cloth Hall. ** Note: In the event that we could not visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp, we will reimburse each pax 80SGD Eu Voucher **
Continue to Wrocław, the historical capital of Lower Silesia in Western Poland. The town is perched upon the Odra River along with the veritable maze of islands and bridges that have earned it the nickname ‘Venice of Poland’. Mill about the Old Town of Wrocław, a remarkable area filled with Baroque splendour that was painfully reconstructed after WWII. Next, have a blast at the vibrant Market Square, which is bursting at the seams with cafes, restaurants, shops and hotels.
Make your way to Berlin and start your day with a half day city tour. See the beautiful Unter den Linden, an elegant boulevard in the heart of Berlin connecting the Brandenburg Gate. Drop by the Reichstag (exterior view only), the seat of the German Parliament that reflects the tumultuous history of Germany. Next, visit the famous East – West German border crossing Checkpoint Charlie, which is also the scene of various thrillers and espionage novels. Last but not least comes the main highlight of the tour : the Berlin Wall. Trail along the double row of cobblestones that formed the symbolic boundary separating the democratic East Berlin and West Berlin.
Today you will head to Prague. Make a pit stop at Dresden along the way to enjoy art treasures, architectural sights and alluring landscape. Explore the city on foot for a tour of the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche), the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger Palace and the Saxon Wall. You may wish to join the excursion to Bastei. Continue to the capital of the Czech Republic – Prague, known as Praha.
Begin with a half-day walking tour of the city nicknamed the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’. Get an up-close look at the famous Prague Castle and the symbolic structures housed within it – the state’s spiritual symbol St. Vitus Cathedral, the best preserved Romanesque church St. George’s Basilica and the Old Royal Palace. Cross the iconic Charles Bridge and proceed to the Old Town for a glimpse of the Astronomical Clock, one of the greatest treasures of the city. Then head towards the last stop of the day – Wenceslas Square, the vibrant social and commercial centre of Prague.
Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure till it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight home.
We hope you enjoyed your vacation with our company. We look forward to seeing you again for your next trip.
After breakfast, transfer to Munich and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

13D10N Highlights of Eastern EuropeDeparture date: 25 December 2018Tour manager: Mr Sabestian MakIt is the first time that my wife and I have joined a tour group with EU Holidays. Whilst we enjoyed ourselves and took in the breathtaking scenery throughout the trip, our holiday was made all the more memorable by our tour manager Sabestian Mak. Sabestian impressed as a responsible individual who demonstrated kindness and warmth in his interactions with everyone in our group. Despite him having felt fatigued as he had to lead back to back tour group travels, he still went the extra mile for members of our group and his sense of responsibility shone through consistently. My wife and I appreciate Sabestian's dedication, diligence and candid banter. This greatly contributed to us having a relaxing and memorable holiday. EU travels is indeed fortunate to have such a dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced staff in Mr Sabestian Mak. We wish Sabestian all the best in his career and that his efforts and talent be duly recognised. Happy Chinese New Year to one and all!

Tour: 13D Highlights of Eastern EuropeDeparture: 25 Dec 2018Tour manager: Sabestian MakI had the most traumatic trip to Europe as I encountered theft for the first time in Vienna, Austria. My bag was pilfered and my passport and invaluables were stolen in a matter of seconds. But what was amazing was the care, compassion and professionalism of one person - Sabestian Mak!To me, he is a God-send. If not for him, my tour experience would have been a total disaster. Despite this unfortunate experience, I still managed to enjoy the rest of the tour. I remembered clearly Sabestian's guidance in promptly lending me his personal mobile to cancel all my credit cards in quick time to avoid further damage. He contacted the nearest embassy to help me get the documents required to return to Singapore. He even accompanied me to the embassy in Berlin and ensured all was spiffy and smooth.Sabestian is more than a tour manager. He can calmly deal with crisis control, has the humour to engage the whole group, regaled us with his thematic and useful stories that kept us enthralled and amused. He is also very knowledgeable, organised, meticulous, talented (a linguist and an entertainer) and funny Thank you EU for having such a stellar staff in Sabestian. To me, it would not be an overstatement to say he is the best tour manager I have ever had the chance of meeting. Thank you very much Sabestian and may your career continue to soar high!

Tour: 13D10N Eastern Europe Date of Departure: 25th Dec 2018 Tour Manager: Mr Sebastian MakThis is the first time our family of 6 is following EU Holidays' tour and we are very pleased to have Sebastian as our Tour Manger due to his professionalism. A few days leading to the departure, he replied to our queries very promptly even though he was managing another tour at that time. During the tour, he updated us every night with information about the following day's schedule and weather to prep us for various scenarios such as cold weather or comparatively high pickpocket rates. When unfortunate events happened, he resolved the issues professionally and in a calmly fashion, giving the tour group an added sense of stability in the face of unsettling times. On top of these, his humorous personality was a major plus plus for the tour and there was never a boring bus ride thanks to him Cheers, A very happy customer cause of Sebastian

Tour: 18 November 2018 Highlights of Eastern EuropeTour Manager: Maybelle PhuaThey say when you go on a tour, an experienced tour manager is the key. Our group was very lucky to have Ms Maybelle as our tour manager. Bringing 40 people as one throughout the trip. She has been very attentive, informative, knowledgeable, etc throughout the whole trip. Out of the many tours we have joined, Maybelle is the best along with the awesome people in the group! We are truly impressed.Thank you for all the hard work from the pasting of the post-its on the bus windows for our seat allocations to arranging and catering to each and every need of ours. (Especially when almost the whole bus full of people fell ill)Thank you for being our “Nanny” as what you always say. The songs u played when our bus was driving along the beautiful roads of Austria. The time when one of our tour member fell ill and u said “ I need medical assistance!” And everyone brought out everything that they had with them. This tour manager is truly a Gem! From tour members to friends. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, the Lee FamilyP.s. already missing everyone from the group! And so sorry that you lost your “green fairy”!

Hello! Adding on to the list of raving reviews below, we would like to appreciate Maybelle Phua for making this trip such a enjoyable and lovely one! She made a group of 40 members feel small and homely! She is meticulous, full of life, goes the extra mile, and exceeds the role of the tour manager. We can feel her dedication and labour of love for this team. She would prepare snacks (intentionally with soothing properties to help us along the trip), she would prepare shows and songs for us for the long ride between one country to another, educating us and making the journey seem shorter! She is very organised, the entire trip was very smooth because of her meticulousness. She was with us till the very end, when we arrived back in Singapore and had a missing luggage (it was found), she took notice of it before we did and raised it to the service attendant. We really look forward to travelling with her again! With love and adorationDesmond, Teresa, Lucas, TiffanyTrip: 13D 10N Eastern EuropeTour manager: Maybelle Phua

When I heard that we have 40 paxs in our group, I thought ‘seow leow’, it’s going to be nightmare. We (10 of us), would like to compliment our TM, Maybelle Puah, for doing a very good job....she’s knowledgeable and always gave preview of the places we are to visit so that we can understand better when the local guides took us for the city tours. She is also very tactful, well organised and always update us about the next day journey. She managed to keep the whole group as ONE and I believed the rest of the paxs will agree with me when they read my post.33 claps to Maybelle Puah

Tour name: 13D10N Highlight of Eastern EuropeDeparture date: 18 Nov 2018 Tour manager: Maybelle PhuaThis is the first time my mother and I has travelled with EU Holidays Pte Ltd and we have no regrets with our choice. Maybelle, being our tour manager, is patient, caring, very knowledgeable and experienced. She made an effort to start a WhatsApp group a few days before our departure, to update us on the weather forecast and remind us what to bring. She even gave us a brief itinerary of our trip and our list of accommodations. Our tour consists of 40 people, the largest tour group we even encountered having, but it was the most enjoyable oneShe never failed to keep reminding us to be carful of pick pockets, and to wear our jackets before getting off the bus, so as to reduce the chances of us getting sick. She would also never fail to provide us morning calls every morning ,constant weather updates and the highlights for the next few days. She advised us an estimation of how much currency to change in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, and Poland. In between destinations, she will provide us with the brief history of Europe and what to look out for in the next destination for us to process before we reach the it, so that we can at least have a brief background of what the local tour guide is talking about. She is also very interactive with the tour members and interacts with the members very often, so as to make the tour extremely lively and funny. I hope we can have the chance to have her as our tour manager again in our future trips with EU Holidays Pte Ltd and I hope Maybelle will continue conducting tours in such a lively, interactive, and seemingly carefree attitude and make our tours a fun and interactive environment. From Denzil & Helen
