Upon arrival at Osaka airport, be greeted by the local guide. Make our way Himeji and visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Himeji Castle is a stunning white castle complex known for its intricate architecture and historical significance. It's one of Japan's most iconic castles and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding city. Tottori Sand Dunes are vast, shifting sand dunes, a natural wonder in Tottori Prefecture. Those interested can hike, sandboard, or simply marvel at the unique desert-like landscape, which is a stark contrast to the surrounding mountainous regions.
Today, head to Mizuki Shigeru Road, named after a famous manga artist. This street is filled with statues and monuments based on his yokai characters. It's a whimsical and fun place to explore for fans of anime and Japanese folklore. Be awe by Yushi-en Japanese garden, a traditional garden featuring ponds, waterfalls, and carefully manicured landscapes, it's a great place to relax and appreciate the beauty of nature. Adachi Museum is renowned as one of Japan's finest Japanese gardens, the Adachi Museum showcases a collection of traditional gardens in various styles. Visitors can admire the meticulous landscaping, and tranquil atmosphere. End the day by visiting Aoyama Gosho Furusato-kan, this museum is dedicated to Detective Conan's creator, Aoyama Gosho. It features exhibits related to the manga series, including original drawings, manuscripts, and character models.
Embark on a trip to Uradome Coast, offering a unique and scenic way to experience the area's natural beauty. The cruise will sail past stunning rock formations, including sea caves and cliffs. Next proceed to a unique town, Toyooka Bag Town, known for its bag-making industry. You can participate in hands-on workshops and create your own custom bags, learning traditional techniques from local artisans. Eirakukan is a historic playhouse that offers a glimpse into Japan's Edo period. We make a photo stop to see the traditional theatre.
This morning, discover Kyoto's rich cultural heritage with a city tour. Kiyomizu-dera Temple is one of Kyoto's most iconic landmarks, renowned for its stunning wooden architecture. Admire breathtaking views from the temple that is perched on a hill overlooking the city, offering panoramic vistas that are particularly beautiful. Next, take a stroll through the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, this enchanting forest is home to thousands of towering bamboo stalks that create a breathtaking and ethereal atmosphere. Back in Osaka, dive into the lively atmosphere of Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori.
