Assemble at the airport for your f light to Vancouver, the largest metropolitan area in Western Canada and the third largest in the country overall. Once in Vancouver, board a domestic f light bound for Yellowknife, the capital city of the Northwest Territories, where you'll experience the awe-inspiring spectacle of the world's greatest natural light show! Upon reaching Yellowknife, head to the hotel to check in.
Today, embark on an exhilarating journey to Great Slave Lake for a Snowmobiling escapade unlike any other. Begin your adventure by carving your way through Yellowknife back-country, where you will be able to experience the breathtaking remote and rugged wilderness. Immerse yourself in the natural splendour of Yellowknife as you glide behind the wheel of your snowmobile, taking in the awe-inspiring beauty that surrounds you. As you ride through frozen lakes and trails, be on the look out for wildlife such as ptarmigan bird, fox or snowshoe rabbit. Once night falls, leave the city lights behind and venture out into the vastness of the Northwest Territories, spending night chasing the aurora borealis and fuelling up with snacks and warm drinks.
Today, get ready for incredible experience – dog sledding through the Boreal Forest with Alaskan husky dogs! Drink in the majestic scenery as you take off on a thrilling ride with your team of dogs through the seemingly untouched wilderness. Afterwards, discover the culture of the Northwest Territories in the beautiful city of Yellowknife as you visit the Legislative Assembly, Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, and the Frontier Visitor Centre. Then, go on a scenic drive through downtown and the iconic Old Town to the Pilot's Monument, where you can take in a panoramic view of Yellowknife. After dinner, embark on an exciting drive on Dettah Ice Road (subject to weather conditions), home to the Dene community. Spend 3 to 4 hours watching out for the spectacular Northern Lights on the shoreline of the Great Slave Lake in a cosy wood-stove cabin, where you can tuck into some authentic northern snacks and hot beverages. Enjoy a traditional aboriginal drumming performance as you learn more about the Dene people and their way of life through history, language, and connection to the land. And if Lady Luck is on your side, you’ll have an amazing light show to remember.
After breakfast, enjoy a one-of-a-kind ice fishing experience on Great Slave Lake. Take a half-hour trip in the heated, snow-tracked vehicle to a comfortable fishing hut, then drop your line through several feet of ice to see if you can pull in a big one! Afterwards, enjoy a light fish feast in the cabin on the island. As dusk arrives, make your way to the designated Aurora Viewing location, which boasts a specially designed sky-deck observatory, as you enjoy watching for the Aurora Borealis in comfort right in the Arctic.
In the morning, depart from Yellowknife to Calgary on a domestic flight. Upon arrival, transfer to Banff by a comfortable coach, marveling at the snow-covered Rockies along the way. In the afternoon, take the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for breathtaking panoramic views of the snowy mountains, valley, and the surrounding regions. Then, visit Bow River for serene winter scenes and head to Surprise Corner for an iconic view of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel against a backdrop of snow-capped peaks.

Departing for domestic flight to Vancouver with your remarkable Arctic experience under your belt! Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and rest for the day. Alternatively, you may opt to visit the popular Capilano Suspension Bridge Park or enjoy the exhilarating FlyOver Canada experience at your own expense.
Today, embark on your Vancouver city tour with a visit to Granville Island, a bustling hub of tourism and entertainment. Prepare to be amazed by the expansiveness of this peninsula and shopping district, offering a myriad of attractions. Don't miss exploring the vibrant market that adds an extra layer of charm to the experience. Proceed with your journey to Gastown, an integral part of Vancouver's rich history. Make sure to capture the essence of this area by stopping at the iconic Steam Clock, a partially steam-powered, vintage timepiece dating back to 1977. Continue your exploration to Maple Tree Square, a renowned and photogenic historic site in the heart of the city.
