Our vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan.
Embark on a remarkable journey to Hokkaido, to explore the fascinating Fort Goryokaku! This massive, star-shaped Western-style citadel was built to defend Hokkaido from invasions. Afterward, immerse yourself in the charming atmosphere of Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, a commercial complex comprising four renovated facilities that were originally built as a red brick warehouse in 1909. In the evening, ascend Mt. Hakodate by cable car* and be captivated by the breathtaking panoramic view of the city from the mountaintop.
* In case of maintenance or bad weather, the bus will be used to go up the mountain instead.
SAKURA SPECIALS: Access observation deck of Goryokaku Tower for a bird’s eye view of cherry blossom trees planted in star-shaped formation. Thereafter, take a walk at Hachiman-Zaka Slope and Daisan-Zaka Slope known for its splendid rows of cherry blossom trees.
After breakfast, begin our day with a visit to Hakodate Morning Market where you can find a variety of delectable fresh Hakodate produce. Thereafter, head to Onuma Park, known for its picturesque, island dotted lakes and majestic volcano, Mount Komagatake. Then we will pass by Mt Showa, a volcano formed in 1943, one of the youngest active volcanoes in Japan with more than 300 metres high. Next, board the Mt Usu Ropeway (cable car)* leading close to the top of Mount Usu. The upper station's observation deck offers panoramic views of Lake Toya and Showa Shinzan while the second gives you views of the ocean and Mount Usu's largest crater.

This morning, we will head to Jigokudani (Hell Valley), noted for its hot steam vents, sulfurous streams and other volcanic activity. Thereafter, visit to Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, which is a themepark with collection of Edo period style buildings. Continue our journey to Otaru, with visit to the famous Otaru Canal and Otaru’s Sakaimachi Street. There are many shops selling musical boxes, crystal and glassware that mirror the romantic atmosphere of this enchanting town. Visit the Music Box Musuem & Kitachi Glass Shop.
Embark on a picturesque adventure as we start our day with a visit to Cape Kamui and Shimamui Beach, nestled on Hokkaido's scenic Shakotan peninsula. The crystalline blue waters are renowned for their beauty. Then, head over to Ishiya Chocolate Factory, also known as “White Lover Chocolate” Factory. Afterward, let's make a delightful stop at Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade. This historic arcade has been bustling since the frontier period, offering a charming blend of traditional and modern shops.
After breakfast, we will visit to Hokkaido-Jingu Shrine, a traditional place of worship for the Japanese “Shindo” and the oldest shrine in Hokkaido. After lunch, continue to Sapporo Beer Factory to learn how the beer is being produced and get to taste their fresh local beer on the spot.
SAKURA SPECIALS: Hokkaido-Jingu Shrine has been a popular cherry blossom viewing spot since 1900 because you can view 1,400 cherry blossom trees and 250 plum blossom trees that bloom at the same time.

After breakfast, stop at an Outlet Mall for some shopping before transfer to the airport for your flight home!
SAKURA and PLUM SPECIALS: A Blossoming Haven - Exploring the Plum Grove in Hiraoka Park. A sprawling plum grove spanning over 6.5 hectares. This enchanting grove boasts approximately 1,200 Bungo-type plum trees.
