Begin your romantic getaway by flying to Athens - the capital of Greece.
*Note: If you are flying by TK/LX/LH Airlines, you will assemble on the night of day 1 and flight arrival Athens on Day 2.
Upon arrival, transfer to Athens city where local guide will lead you visit the UNESECO-listed ruins of the Acropolis of Athens with 3D Acropolis tablet. On Acropolis Hill, visualize the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike and of course of the ancient complex. Next, you’ll have a photo stop at the spectacular Panathenaic Stadium, home to the first modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896. Afterwards, sit comfortably in your tour bus as we bring you to sightsee the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Academy, the University, and the National Library. Stop at Syntagma Square to see the changing of the guard ceremony that takes place in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
*Note: If flying with EK Airlines, you'll arrive in the late afternoon. Transfer to Athens city for free time, followed by dinner and rest. Athen’s city tour scheduled for Day 10.
Embark on a captivating journey through a picturesque landscape of green valleys and striking cliffs to reach Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at the awe-inspiring sight of monasteries perched atop towering rock pillars and soak in the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains. Visit two of these remarkable Meteora monasteries to fully appreciate their historic and spiritual significance. Afterward, settle into your hotel in Kalambaka, ready to unwind and enjoy your stay.
Today, enjoy a unique Truffle hunting tour - go into the woods in search of truffle with the hunters and their dogs. Then, a chef will prepare an amazing truffle pasta dish right in the thick of the forest with your truffle find! While the pasta is being prepared, try various mushroom products and some exceptional wine. Next, proceed to visit the National History Museum of Meteora and Mushroom, where you'll be introduced to the magic world of truffles and mushrooms.
Board a speedboat to Mykonos. Upon your arrival on the island, visit the capital of Mykonos, Ano Mera, home to the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani. Move towards the Paradise Beach and Agios Ioannis Beach. Continue with a walking tour in the picturesque bay of Mykonos Old Town. Stroll past the cube-shaped, whitewashed, houses in this historic fishing village. Never to miss the highlights including Little Venice, the Church of Paraportiani, and The Windmills. Enjoy a romantic dinner with a beautiful sunset over Mykonos before transferring to the hotel to check in for the night.
Enjoy a free day at leisure, where you'll have plenty of time to bask in the lively atmosphere of the island.
Transfer to the port and catch a speedboat to Santorini Island. On arrival, visit Oia Village - the iconic Cycladic village blankets the top of a cliff, cascading down the volcanic hillsides and dangling over the Aegean Sea. Late afternoon proceeds for sunset dinner at Fira. Enjoy seafood dinner as you watch one of the world’s most infamous sunsets over the Caldera.
Enjoy a free day at leisure in the breath-taking island of Santorini. You may wish to join an optional tour at your own expense.
Afterward, you are free to enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure until it's time for your transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival in Athens, you will be driven to Mc Arthur Designer Glen. Upon arrival Athens, tuck into Greek and Mediterranean dishes at a one-star Michelin Restaurant.
After breakfast, you may consider whether you want to join an optional tour to immerse yourself in an exciting, guided walking experience through the vibrant neighbourhoods of Panepistimio, Monastiraki, Plaka, and Psirri. Indulge in a culinary adventure as you Savor delightful food tastings, explore local shops filled with Greek treasures, and discover the bustling energy of the Fruit & Vegetable Market and the Meat & Fish Market. Prepare your taste buds for an explosion of flavours as you sample traditional Greek delicacies and treat yourself to an authentic Greek Souvlaki at a charming Traditional Greek Tavern. With free time for shopping, you'll have the perfect opportunity to find unique souvenirs and mementos to cherish. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure until it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight home.
