Our vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan.
Upon arrival, transfer to Tokaichi Plain you will get to wheeze in the fresh air amidst the abundant crops in Tokachi Plain before dinner.
Start your journey with a visit to Obihirio Ryugetsu Factory which is It is located in a location with a great view of the vast landscape typical of Tokachi.The premises are equipped with funfacilities that allow you to fully enjoy Sweets Village Tokachi after that transfer to the Happiness Station. The name of the station is derived from "Happiness" where the station is located at. Then, head over the Ikeda Wine Factory and have a deeper understanding of its wine making and production process. In additional to the tour, you also get the chance to taste its variety of wines. Next, board the Kushiro Marsh Observatory This is one of the well known hubs where you can learn about and view the Kushiro Shitsugen Wetlands while on a walk.
Start your day with a visit to Kushiro Washo Market. Along with the famous "Katte Don" bowls, you can find seasonal seafood lined up in this true port-town market. Akan International Crane Center Grus This facility is unique to Japan in its purposes to conserve the tancho crane while providing research and information about these magnificent birds. Next, proceed to Lake Akan, Take a sightseeing boat on this beautiful crater lake which is home to Marimo. After lunch we will proceed to the Watanebe farm to take the better experience. Lake Mashu translated in Ainu language as the Lake of the Gods and portray a solemn and sacred atmosphere. More natural site with a visit to the Iozan, Sulphur Mountains, also known locally as “Medical King Mountain”. Guests are free to walk around the steaming, smoking area and get to close proximity of its yellow, sulphurous vents.
Today, after breakfast we will proceed to Shiretoko Cape where the magnificent view of Mount Rausu (1661m), the highest mountain in Shiretoko, opened up to sight along the mountain pass. Next, see the spectacular Oshinkoshin Waterfall, also nicknamed “Sobi no Taki”, twin beauties waterfall. Continue onwards, we will enter the Shiretoko Nature Center and start touring the Shiretoko Five Lakes. Finally, we will pass to the wooden walking trails of Koshimizu Primitive Park whilst enjoying the display of colourful flowers and plants along both sides of the trails.
Start our journey today from the Kitahama Station, an iconic structure and representative scenery of Hokkaido which you will for sure be familiar with. After that, we will proceed to Cape Notori. Overlooking into the endless sea with only the lonely black and white lighthouse to accompany, embrace yourself in this serene sight facing the Sea of Okhotsk.Then we will visit the Abashiri Prison Museum and the nearby Lake Abashiri. Afternoon, procced to Daisetsuzan National Park at 1984m high peak that towers over Sounkyo Onsen. Take the Kurodate Ropeway from the upper 5th Station to the summit where you can hike through forests in the mountains during spring, or enjoy the beauty of red maples in the clear autumn.
This morning, head over to Ginga and Ryusei Waterfalls, aka ‘wife and husband waterfalls’. Next visit Otokoyama sake brewery museum which is introducing sake brewing culture as japanese traditional industry and history of Otokoyama from 350 years. After sightseeing, enjoy a local meal at Asahikawa Ramen Village which offers 8 of Asahikawa's most well-known ramen shops in one location. After the lunch will proceed to the Asahiyama Zoo that features enclosures that allow visitors to observe the animals from various angles, many of which are unique to the zoo. Ishiya Chocolate Factory, also known as “White Lover Chocolate” Factory. Evening proceed to Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade. This shopping arcade is in operation since the frontier period and it's also a great place to buy some souvenirs!
Today you will have some leisure time to enjoy the charm of Sapporo, the largest city in Hokkaido.
Today, enjoy a last minute shopping at Mitsui Outlet Sapporo before transfer to airport. Bid farewell to this beautiful country as you transfer to the airport for your flight back home. We hope you enjoyed your vacation with EU Holidays and we look forward to seeing you again on your next trip.
