Journey through historic cities and scenic port towns toward the Normandy coast. Begin in Rouen, the capital of Normandy, known for the 16th-century Gros Horloge (Great Clock) and the Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Rouen. Stroll through the Old Market Square, where Joan of Arc was executed. Proceed to Étretat, celebrated for its agriculture and breathtaking chalk cliffs, featuring the iconic "pointed needle" and three natural arches.
Begin in Honfleur, explore the Lieutenance overlooking the Vieux-Bassin and the wooden Church of Sainte-Catherine with its unique hull-shaped ceiling. Continue to the Normandy D-Day Landing Beaches with local guide, visiting the American Cemetery, Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Pointe du Hoc, honoring the Second Ranger Battalion. Conclude with free time in Arromanches, famous for its Allied landing harbor.
Today's highlight is a visit to the fairytale island of Mont-Saint- Michel, home to a medieval Benedictine Abbey atop a rocky hill, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Europe's most iconic wonders. Next, visit the port city of Saint-Malo, walking along its city walls for ocean views, exploring the Gothic Saint Malo Cathedral, and strolling down the lively Rue du Collège.
Enjoy a free day or join an excursion to Cancale and Dinan. Take a scenic drive to Cancale, visit an oyster farm to learn about production, and taste three varieties of fresh oysters with wine. Next to Dinan, a medieval city founded in 1040 and once one of France's key market towns.

Discover Le Mans, famed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, and explore the 500-year-old Saint-Julien Cathedral and Old Town, featured in Cyrano de Bergerac. Finish with a unique dinner at a caveman restaurant, featuring the region’s traditional fouée bread.
