Assemble at the airport and depart for Zürich, Switzerland’s financial centre.

Start your Zurich sightseeing with a leisurely walk across the Münsterbrücke, a pedestrian bridge over the Limmat River offering beautiful views of the city skyline. Make a photo stop at the Fraumünster, a historic Gothic church, before wrapping up your Zurich visit at Lindenhof, a hilltop park with stunning views over the Old Town, river, and lake. Then, journey to Bern to explore its UNESCO World Heritagelisted Old Town on foot. Key highlights include the Bear Pit, the iconic Zytglogge clock tower, and the House of Parliament.

Note: In case of a late flight arrival, the Zurich city tour will be moved to Day 9.

Travel to Montreux, where you can capture the picturesque 13th-century Chillon Castle situated at the lake's eastern end. Next, hop on a cable car from Col du Pillon to Glacier 3000, where you can enjoy the snowy fun park, glide on the Ice Express chairlift, and challenge yourself on the Peak Walk by Tissot - the world’s first suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks. This 108m long pathway offers stunning views of over 24 peaks above 4,000m. End the day with a thrilling ride on the Alpine Coaster, Europe’s highest toboggan run. Retire for the night in Martigny, a charming mountain spa resort in the heart of Valais, surrounded by vineyards and orchards, and nestled below the impressive Farinet footbridge with sweeping views of the Alps.

 

Note: The Alpine Coaster operates from Jun to Oct only, with no replacement or refund if unavailable. Glacier activities depend on weather conditions. If the Glacier 3000 cable car is closed due to high winds, it will be replaced with the Mt Pilatus Lucerne.

Scenic Ride: Mont-Blanc Express
Today, board the panoramic Mont-Blanc Express, a century-old rail link connecting Switzerland and France, for a scenic 90-minute journey to Chamonix. Travel through the enchanting Trient Valley, with its rugged cliffs, dense forests, wild gorges, and quaint alpine villages, all set in a pristine natural landscape that offers breathtaking views. Arrive in Chamonix, a picture-perfect village at the foot of Mont Blanc, where you’ll have time to explore and immerse yourself in the unique culture and rich history of this iconic alpine destination.

Note: The Mont-Blanc Express operates seasonally and may be replaced with coach service from mid-October during maintenance periods.

This morning, indulge in the hotel's renowned thermal pool against the Swiss mountain backdrop. Journey to Saas Fee, a car free village at 1800m, often called 'little Zermatt,' nestled amidst towering 1340m peaks creating a picturesque alpine haven. For an enriching experience, opt for an excursionto the Aletsch Glacier, the largest in the Bernese Alps.

Begin your day in Zermatt with a ride on Europe’s highest cog railway to Gornergrat. Enjoy a scenic journey past charming Valais-style chalets and stunning alpine landscapes. Upon reaching the 3,089m summit, take in breathtaking views of iconic peaks, including the Matterhorn and Monte Rosa, along with a sweeping panorama of over 20 other majestic peaks. Spend some free time exploring Zermatt at your leisure.

 

Take the local train from Visp to Spiez and explore the town center and lakeside promenade. Next, enjoy a scenic boat ride across Lake Thun, the largest in the Bernese Oberland, with views of its crystal-clear waters, historic lakeside castles, and charming towns. As you sail toward Interlaken, take in the stunning alpine scenery, with the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks towering in the distance.

Note: If specific boat rides are unavailable or not operating, they will be replaced with a boat ride in Lucerne.

Enjoy a free day exploring the scenic mountain surroundings or ops some various sports activities in Interlaken. Consider our optional trip to Jungfraujoch, the "Top of Europe," for awe-inspiring alpine views that promise an unforgettable experience.

Travel to Lucerne, explore landmarks like the Chapel Bridge, a 14th-century wooden bridge adorned with paintings, and the Lion Monument, a tribute to Swiss Guards who lost their lives during the French Revolution. Wander through the charming Old Town, with its cobblestone streets and medieval architecture. Visit Bucherer, Switzerland's largest duty-free store, offering a selection of luxury watches and Swiss souvenirs. Enjoy free time or opt for an excursion to Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, Europe’s largest waterfall, for a breathtaking natural spectacle.
