Upon arrival, explore the historical grandeur of Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Official Residence before indulging your senses at the renowned Shilin Night Market, where tantalizing street food and lively ambiance await.
After breakfast, travel to Shifen and view the famous waterfall, Shifen Waterfall which stands at 20 meters tall. Not to forget, releasing Sky Lantern (1 Sky Lantern per 4 pax) at Shifen Old Street is a must when you are at Shifen! Up next, walk along the Jiufen Old Street and enjoy all the famous street food Taiwan has to offer.
After breakfast, head to Cingjing Farm, a great place to enjoy fresh air and interact with the sheep and cows roaming around the Green Grassland. With an altitude of 1,700-2,000 meters, and six lookout points, enjoy panoramic view whilst strolling on the Cingjing Skywalk. Then, proceed to Tai Yi Ecological Leisure Farm where you can tour around to see the different themed such as Fairytale Garden and some DIY activities that is available.
This morning, we will visit the well-known Wen Wu Temple, built to enshrine and worship Confucius, Guan Gong and Yue Fei. Get on to ride in a cable car for a bird’s eye view of the largest lake in Taiwan, Sun Moon Lake. Learn and shop at the Aboriginal Specialities Local Products before a visit to Taiwan Indigenous tribes museum, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, which displays the traditional homes and architect and at the same time you can enjoy the amusement park that has various rides. Conclude your day with a visit to the vibrant Rainbow Village. In the evening, experience the bustling atmosphere of the renowned Fengjia Night Market.
Built by the Japanese engineer in 1913, get to see the longest railway bridge in Asia, Old Iron Bridge Natural Ecological Landscape. Next on the list for today is a site for culture and education, Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center which consists of traditional and modern elements. Time for some free shopping time at SKM Park Outlets! It's a world- class complex Outlets with about 220 stores stationed in it. Then head to Liuhe Night Market, one of the most famous night markets in Kaohsiung.
Today, we will visit Lukang Tianhou Temple, named as a third-class historic site in 1985. Take a walk along the Lukang Old Street which is one of the oldest street in Taiwan and a well preserved cultural and historical heritage. Thereafter, head to Zhongshe Flower Garden to see the various bright colours of flower beds. Tonight, explore Taoyuan Night Market where you can find various Taiwanese street foods.
Today, you will have the opportunity for a hands-on experience in learning how to make Pineapple Tarts. Then, visit Huashan 1914 Creative Park, a lively cultural space within a historic wine factory, showcasing a dynamic mix of contemporary make a stop at Tianlu Art Centre to learn about the various type of Tianlu and what is their functionality. Next, enjoy some shopping time at Ximending.
