Our vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan. Upon arrival at Osaka airport, be greeted by the local guide. Make our way to Nara to immerse yourself in the ancient capital's charm and marvel at the giant Buddha in Todai-ji Temple and interact with friendly deer in Nara Park. A beautiful Japanese garden in Nara, Isuien Garden (means garden founded on water), known for its picturesque landscaping and harmonious design.
This morning, discover Kyoto's rich cultural heritage with a city tour. Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) is an iconic gold covered Zen temple, a tranquil temple set amid landscaped gardens and a reflecting pond. Take a stroll through the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, this enchanting forest is home to thousands of towering bamboo stalks that create a breathtaking and ethereal atmosphere. Next, proceed to Togetsukyo Bridge, it’s a historic wooden bridge spanning the Katsura River.
After breakfast, first stop is Kiyomizu-dera Temple, one of Kyoto's most iconic landmarks, renowned for its stunning wooden architecture. Admire breathtaking views from the temple that is perched on a hill overlooking the city, offering panoramic vistas that are particularly beautiful. Next, we arrange a kimono experience which offers a truly unique and authentic way to immerse yourself in Japanese culture. We will visit the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, with thousands of vibrant orange torii gates that form a pathway up the sacred Mount Inari. Next, explore the vibrant Nishiki Market, a foodie's paradise.
Embark on a day trip to Ine Funaya, a picturesque fishing village known for its unique houseboats. Take a walk around the village and enjoy a scenic boat tour (Subject to weather condition) and admire the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and sea. Continue to Amanohashidate, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, and marvel at the sandbar that stretches across the sea. End the day by travelling back to Osaka and explore the city’s vibrant nightlife on your own.
Today, explore the charming city of Kobe, famous for its foreign settlement and delicious Kobe beef. Visit the Harborland area, stroll through the Kitano Ijinkan-gai (Foreign Settlement), and enjoy stunning views of the city. Back in Osaka, unwind at the Osaka Solaniwa Onsen (include first entry, other expenses on your own), a luxurious hot spring facility. In the evening, immerse yourself in Osaka's vibrant nightlife in Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori.
