Upon arrival at Osaka airport, be greeted by the local guide. Make our way to Wakayama and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Kuroshio Market, where you can find an array of fresh seafood and local delicacies. Witness the dramatic cliffs of Sandan Grove, known for their unique rock formations and stunning ocean views. Lastly, capture the beauty of Senjojiki Beach, a picturesque coastal area famous for its smooth, white sand and crystal-clear waters.
Today, gain insights into the traditional process of making soy sauce at a local Soy Sauce Factory. Learn about the history of soy sauce production and see different varieties. Explore the historic Wakayama Castle, a magnificent feudal castle perched atop a hill overlooking the city. Discover the castle's rich history and admire its impressive architecture. Take a scenic stroll through the sacred mountains of Mount Koya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Around there are ancient temples, shrines, and monasteries, and experience the tranquillity of the mountain environment.
This morning, continue our journey to Nara, a historic city famous for its ancient temples and friendly deer. Marvel at the Great Buddha, one of the largest bronze statues in the world, housed within Todai-ji Temple. You can interact with the friendly deer that roam freely in Nara Park. Feed them deer crackers and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Travel back to Osaka, a vibrant metropolis known for its delicious food, lively nightlife, and bustling streets.
Today, explore the charming city of Kobe, famous for its foreign settlement and delicious Kobe beef. Visit the Harborland area, stroll through the Kitano Ijinkan-gai (Foreign Settlement), and enjoy stunning views of the city. Back in Osaka, unwind at the Osaka Solaniwa Onsen (include first entry, other expenses on your own), a luxurious hot spring facility. In the evening, immerse yourself in Osaka's vibrant nightlife in Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori.
