Begin your journey at the delightful fishing village of Henningsvær, offering stunning mountain vistas against the tranquil blue sea. Proceed along the fjord route to Reine, a charming village situated in southern Lofoten. Later, pause at Hamnoy’s renowned photo spot, Hamnoy Bridge, a beloved location among photography enthusiasts.
Today, we journey to Narvik, positioned north of the Arctic Circle at 68 degrees north and situated within the auroral zone. Embark on the Narvik Cable Car, which ascends to Mt. Narvikfjellet, offering panoramic vistas of the city and its neighboring fjords and mountains. Later, check in to the hotel. If weather conditions allow, tonight you might have the chance to observe the Northern Lights from the comfort of your accommodation.
Note: If the cable car is unavailable due to adverse weather conditions, we will substitute it with a cable car ride in Tromsø instead.
Let's head towards Tromsø and have a relaxing day to ourselves. Begin with a city tour highlighting landmarks like the Arctic Cathedral and Polaria. Later in the evening, we will be accompanied by a Professional Photographer on a bus journey to the most suitable locations for Chasing the Northern Lights. If the Northern Lights grace us with their presence, our photographer will capture stunning images of this enchanting natural phenomenon.
Note: Observing the Northern Lights cannot be guaranteed since it is a natural occurrence that depends on weather conditions. A complimentary digital group photo will be sent within 7 to 15 days following the tour. Edited individual shots captured by professional photographers will be available for an additional cost, payable directly to them.
Discover Tromsø at your own pace today or engage in a memorable Whale Safari Adventure. Prepare for exciting encounters as the whales might approach the boat, causing remarkable splashes! Alternatively, immerse yourself in a husky sledding expedition through the genuine Arctic environment and the surrounding mountains, as the huskies pull your sled across the frozen landscape.
Board a domestic flight to Helsinki. Upon arrival, start exploring Helsinki. See the unique Sibelius Monument, an architectural tribute resembling organ pipes dedicated to composer Jean Sibelius. Next, visit Senate Square to admire Helsinki Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the National Library of Finland. Pass by Temppeliaukio Church, nicknamed the 'Rock Church' for its naturally rock-crafted interior walls.
