Upon arrival in Helsinki, explore the city. Visit the distinctive Sibelius Monument, resembling organ pipes, dedicated to composer Jean Sibelius. Proceed to Senate Square to admire Helsinki Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the National Library of Finland. Pass by Temppeliaukio Church, nicknamed the 'Rock Church' for its naturally rock-crafted interior walls. Then, head to the medieval town of Porvoo for a walking tour featuring landmarks like the Old Town Hall, Porvoo Cathedral, and the A. Edelfelt Statue. Return to Helsinki and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.
Note: For non-AY Flights, your Helsinki sightseeing will take place on Day 10 before your departure and do note that Porvoo sightseeing is not included.
Take advantage of a day off to discover Helsinki at your own pace, where there are a plethora of activities and sights to enjoy. Alternatively, you might consider taking a supplementary excursion to Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia, by ferry, to appreciate the rich cultural scene and admire the spectacular medieval and historic structures.
Fly domestically to Ivalo, Inari, Finland, then head north to Kirkenes, Norway, known for its king crab. Experience Snowhotel 365, the first hotel of its kind made from snow and ice, open throughout the year. Take part in the Original King CrabSafari, traveling by snowmobile-pulled sled or RIB boat depending on the season. Conclude the journey at a warm farmhouse restaurant by the fjord, indulging in a Traditional Crab Feast. Weather permitting, catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights during the King Crab Safari and near our accommodation for the night.
Note: King Crab Safari must be at least 7 years old to participate in the King Crab Safari, accompanied by an adult.
Embark on a scenic journey through stunning landscapes, crossing snow-covered mountains and pristine fjords in Norway, then returning to Saariselka, Finland. After dinner, explore the wilderness on a Snowmobile to hunt for the Northern Lights. If the sky is clear, experience an enchanting showcase of our planet's most stunning natural light performance - an unforgettable sight.
Note: To operate a snowmobile or sled, drivers must have a valid driving license and be at least 18 years old. Children who wish to sit on a snowmobile must be at least 130 cm tall, while those shorter can ride in a sleigh pulled by a guide's snowmobile, accompanied by an adult. There are two people for each snowmobile. One person drives and the other sits in the back; you can swap drivers halfway. If there is insufficient snow, alternative tours will be arranged to replace any activities that cannot take place.
Explore a Husky Dog Farm, learn about their lives, and join a thrilling HuskySafari. Make our way to Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, positioned 250 km above the Arctic Circle. Visit the Igloo Tower, and enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the surrounding arctic wilderness. Enjoy a night stay at the Kelo Glass Igloo, the location provides an excellent chance to witness the Aurora Borealis due to minimal light pollution.
Note: To ride in a sleigh, children under 4 years must be accompanied by an adult. Additionally, to drive the sleigh, you must weigh at least 45kg. If any activities cannot take place due to lack of snow, alternative tours will be provided. If the Igloo Tower is not accessible, we will stop for photos instead.
Discover Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus, where enchanting tales come to life. Explore Santa Claus Village, send postcards from Santa's Main Post Office, and obtain an Arctic Circle stamp. Receive an Arctic Crossing Certificate and meet Santa Claus at the Christmas House. Experience a Reindeer Sleigh Ride and even earn a reindeer driving license. In the evening, join a Northern Light Hunting excursion with a Professional Photographer. Conclude the day at our Private Northern Lights Camp with Arctic nature, traditional Lappish sausage, and hot berry juice.

Make the most of a free day in Rovaniemi with various exciting activities. Enjoy skiing at Ounasvaara Ski Resort, explore the enchanting Santa Park, try horseback riding in the arctic wilderness, or visit Ranua Wildlife Park. If visiting from mid-December, consider an icebreaker cruise. With numerous options available, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Today, try an exceptional Arctic Ice Floating Adventure with provided high-quality rescue suits to keep you dry and warm. Embrace the unique experience of floating in 0°C open waters. Afterward, return to Helsinki and head to the airport for your flight home.
Note: Non-AY Flights: Tonight's accommodation will be at Helsinki Sokos Flamingo Hotel. The Helsinki city tour is scheduled on the next day before our flight back home. Minimum height for Ice Floating is 120cm.
