Upon arrival, embark on a journey through the Imperial City, beginning with visits to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, two remarkable monuments representing two world religions coexisting harmoniously. Following this, explore the remnants of the Hippodrome of Constantinople, characterized by its three monumental columns and a fountain. Continue your exploration with a visit to the historic Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman Sultans, and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Depart for Bolu via Ankara and embark on a sightseeing tour of this capital city which will include the magnificent Ataturk Mausoleum. Continue our way to the unique landscape of Cappadocia.
This morning you may consider a famous Turkiye experience – Hot Air Balloon ride over the most extraordinary landscapes or a Jeep Safari tour at your own expense (subject to weather conditions). Start full day tour of Cappadocia, make photo stops and view Pigeon Valley and Uchisar Castle. Visit the Goreme Open- Air Museum, a World Heritage site with fascinating cave churches and biblical frescoes. Stop by the Monks Valley (Pasabag) for some memorable photos at one of the most picturesque spots of Cappadocia. Enjoy local specialty pottery kebab for lunch at a restaurant overlooking the valley. Continue on to Kaymakli Underground City, once a hiding place for early Christians escaping Arabic persecutors. Lastly, visit a Jewelry Center where you can admire the handcrafted natural stones. When night falls, adjourn to a local restaurant for a captivating belly dance show with unlimited snacks.
After breakfast, visit a Turkish carpet showroom before leaving Cappadocia. En route, stop at an old caravanserai dating from the 13th century before arriving in Konya to visit the Mevlana Museum. Here you will learn about the sect of the whirling dervishes. Proceed to Pamukkale where you will end your day with a relaxing soak in a hot thermal pool.
Pamukkale is also called the “Cotton Castle”, because of the white, cottony appearance of the mineral bath spas that abound the province, which is rich in calcium. Explore landmarks such as the Ruins of Hierapolis, iconic White Travertine Terraces and take a dip in the mineral-rich hot springs. After this unique experience, leave for Ephesus, the best-preserved ancient city of Asia Minor. Continue to admire the impressive ruins of the Library of Celsus and the famous Temple of Hadrian. Begin your Ephesus journey with an exclusive visit to the Ephesus Experience Museum, gaining insights into the region's rich history. Make your way to the House of the Virgin Mary, a place believed to be where Virgin Mary spent the last years of her life. Before reaching Kusadasi, a popular coastal town on Turkey's Aegean coast, enjoy a brief visit to the Turkish Delight and Apple Tea Outlet.
Begin with a visit to a Turkish Leather showroom. Then travel to the ancient city of Pergamon to see the impressive Acropolis, which dramatically sits on a hill to the northeast of the town. Take a cable car up the hill and relish the sights of impressive temples, the library, theatre and arsenals. Next make your way to Troy to see theTrojan horse, a huge hollow wooden horse constructed by the Greeks to gain entrance into Troy during the Trojan War. Thereafter, enjoy a leisure drive along the coast to Canakkale.
Depart Canakkale for Istanbul via the longest suspension bridge in the world. The 1915 Canakkale Bridge has reached completion in Turkiye with a span of 2,023 metres, becoming the longest suspension bridge in the world. End with a walk around the world’s largest canopied market - Grand Bazaar to haggle for some 4,000 jewelry, pottery, spices, carpet, and leather stores.
Today spend the day at your leisure, you may consider an optional visit to the Egyptian Spice Bazaar and a cruise along the European and Asian shores of the Bosporus. Transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
