Tour: 11D8N Central Europe highlights + 2N DubaiDeparture: 10th Dec 2018Tour Leader: Our guide John Foo, was responsible and quite well organised. 2 of my family lost their passports and he was helpful in managing the problem. My son had his birthday during the tour and John helped to arrange for candles and mini celebration during breakfast. He is professional and dedicated to his work.Itinerary: Generally good overall with moderate pace. We were satisifed even though some of the places like Germany and Belgium were touch and go. But I guess it's expected given such a short span of time to cover so many countries. The sledging activity was very exciting, and the optional in Swiss was very fun!Dubai optional tour was interesting and fun packed. However, a local guide in Dubai was with us for half day (in fact, perhaps it was like 3 to 4 hrs). Not sure why we had to tip more than the amount for our guide while in Europe.Some improvement needed for the optional tour in Paris as amount spent is not really worth it, given that a large portion of the time we ended up just shopping at Lafayette.Accomodation: was generally average and acceptable, while our 2N in Paris was excellent given that Marriott Courtyard was the hotel we stayed in.However, the 1N in Nancy stopover was disappointing as it seemed more like 2star accomodation.Food: More variety would be appreciated. It was good that effort was made to incorporate asian flavours for some days. Some specialty meals did not seem to be special (for eg. chicken cutlet meal in Milan) which we could also have in an SG food court.Overall, it was a good tour for 40 pax and all of us appreciate the effort put in by John. and I have already recommended this tour package to my friends.

Tour: 13D Highlights of Eastern EuropeDeparture: 25 Dec 2018Tour manager: Sabestian MakI had the most traumatic trip to Europe as I encountered theft for the first time in Vienna, Austria. My bag was pilfered and my passport and invaluables were stolen in a matter of seconds. But what was amazing was the care, compassion and professionalism of one person - Sabestian Mak!To me, he is a God-send. If not for him, my tour experience would have been a total disaster. Despite this unfortunate experience, I still managed to enjoy the rest of the tour. I remembered clearly Sabestian's guidance in promptly lending me his personal mobile to cancel all my credit cards in quick time to avoid further damage. He contacted the nearest embassy to help me get the documents required to return to Singapore. He even accompanied me to the embassy in Berlin and ensured all was spiffy and smooth.Sabestian is more than a tour manager. He can calmly deal with crisis control, has the humour to engage the whole group, regaled us with his thematic and useful stories that kept us enthralled and amused. He is also very knowledgeable, organised, meticulous, talented (a linguist and an entertainer) and funny Thank you EU for having such a stellar staff in Sabestian. To me, it would not be an overstatement to say he is the best tour manager I have ever had the chance of meeting. Thank you very much Sabestian and may your career continue to soar high!

With him as our tour manager, i believe that everyone within the tour group felt very safe in europe despite the constant presence of pickpockets and other dangers. Mr Wang was very vigilant throughtout the trip and ensured that the safety of his tour group was his top priority. Furthermore, he was also very knowledgable and advices us with souvenirs that can be bought for our family and friends. When we left the group to head towards England, Mr Wang still ensured that we were safe and was available to respond to any queries that we have over in England despite him not being with us. Overall it was a fantastic trip, and kudos to Mr Wang for making the trip one to remember.

You were wonderful leading us throughout the tour, providing detailed explanations and information about the places we were going to visit and also giving us all the information about viewing the aurora. You were also so patient with us, dealing with our questions and issues in such a calm and professional manner, and also so accomodating to our needs. For that, I am very grateful. This is my 2nd tour following EU Holidays and I’m very satisfied. I have to travel to Sg from KL to join your tours but it’s worth the extra travel I need to make. 10D7N Winter Adventure In Finland + Norway King Crab Safari4/1/19-13/1/19Ricky WooThis is the 1st time that I've joined EU Holidays, which was recommend by a friend. I was very happy with the itinerary, the hotels, and most of all, our tour leader Ricky. He's like a robot, no need for rest or sleep yet always in top condition, even when we are his third tour group in a row. By right, he should have been exhausted after 20 days of non-stop work with only 4-6 hours of sleeping time a day, but he was still extremely professional, taking care of everyone and always reminding us about the next meeting time through WhatsApp. He always does a headcount wherever we go, and even puts in the effort to bring us around local attractions during our leisure time when he could have just went back to have an early rest. He would also often help us to take photos when our hand aren't available, at the cost of his own hands freezing in the cold without gloves. He would also sacrifice a lot of his resting time to help us watch out for the aurora, take beautiful photos, and post them in our group chat.I still remember the 1st day I checked into the Original Sokos Hotel Helksinki, where I couldn't open the window as there was no handle. I then asked in our group chat if anyone knew how to open it and, to my surprise, Ricky came over to check and immediately gave a call to the reception to tell them to fix it. Another incident was at the Thon Hotel Kirkenes, where Ricky saw the aurora outside our hotel and personally went to every room and knocked to inform us about it. Another event where he showed his professionalism was at our campfire in Saariselka. There were strong winds and heavy snow that day. Everybody was all hiding under the shelter except for Ricky. He stayed out under the extreme freezing conditions to help the rest of us to barbeque our hotdogs & marshmallows.I am extremely fortunate to have enjoyed my Finland trip with such a superb, first-class tour leader, and this trip will definitely stay in my memory for a long time. My family and I went for the 11days Egypt tour. Our tour manager was Melanie. She was very caring, thoughtful and brought great joy to our tour group. She would constantly check up on everyone of us and ensured that we enjoyed ourselves and were doing ok. As Egypt's climate is rather unpredictable, she would send us valuable information and advice on attire every night. We really enjoyed our trip a lot and one of the main reasons was definitely her presence.

My family and I enjoyed the 10D7N Finland tour with Ricky Woo as our Tour Manager. He provided interesting information about the cities in the itinerary, and was also helpful in ensuring that we enjoy the tour. For example, he personally led us to the best spots to take photographs of the Northern Lights.Would recommend EU Holidays to my relatives and friends.

13D ITALY, SWISS, FRANCE + DUBAI (17/12/2018 TO 1/1/2019)TOUR MANAGER: FENOLINE YONGGROUP SIZE: 29 PAXFENOLINE HAD WELL PLANNED THE ITINERARY TO ENSURE THE JOURNEY AND PLACES WE VISIT WERE IN ORDER, ESPECIALLY WE WERE IN PARIS ON CHRISTMAS EVE, MOST SHOP / RESTAURANT WERE CLOSED AT 4PM (SOME EVEN EARLY), SHE HAD CHECKED IN ADVANCE AND BROUGHT US TO THE RESTAURANT THAT OPEN SO THAT WE COULD HAVE OUR DINNER.FENOLINE TOOK CARE OF US VERY WELL AND SHE ALSO EXTENDED HER CARE TO THE DRIVER, SHE WOULD HELP TO CHECK THE DRIVER BLIND SPOT FOR THE BUS TO/ FROM ENTER/ EXIT NARROW ROAD (ONE OF THE INITIAL ACTION SHE DID).THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE JOINED EU HOLIDAY FOR EUROPE TRIP, THE LAUGHTER, THE ENJOYED, THE SATISFACTION AND THE WELL PLANNED ITINERARY OF THE TRIP. Tour: 13D10N Eastern Europe Date of Departure: 25th Dec 2018 Tour Manager: Mr Sebastian MakThis is the first time our family of 6 is following EU Holidays' tour and we are very pleased to have Sebastian as our Tour Manger due to his professionalism. A few days leading to the departure, he replied to our queries very promptly even though he was managing another tour at that time. During the tour, he updated us every night with information about the following day's schedule and weather to prep us for various scenarios such as cold weather or comparatively high pickpocket rates. When unfortunate events happened, he resolved the issues professionally and in a calmly fashion, giving the tour group an added sense of stability in the face of unsettling times. On top of these, his humorous personality was a major plus plus for the tour and there was never a boring bus ride thanks to him Cheers, A very happy customer cause of Sebastian

I brought my family for the EU Holidays 15 days/13 nights (+2 days Dubai) Italy, Switzerland and France from 21 Dec 2018 to 5 Jan 2019. My family thoroughly enjoyed the trip.The tour manager, Mr Cole Tan, deserves a special mention because he was highly responsible and dedicated to his job. Cole took great care of all his group members, making extra efforts to ensure that none of us (the aged, the young) was left behind. He also demonstrated his care when he made it a point to help every single family take photographs at scenic spots though I'm sure that was not required within his job scope.When we were in Italy, he took pains to remind us of possible thefts and he was protective and firm when a few street peddler harassed the group. He also ensured that no one was travelling alone and he checked with us our plans and itinerary on our free and easy days to keep tab on our safety. On the scenic train ride, Cole stood at the cabin doorway to ensure that we were not disturbed and no outsiders could storm into our reserved cabin. I believe to Cole, it was second nature to him, however, from our perspective, he put us totally at ease and we felt safe with him.Despite the few crises like the temperamental Italian driver, or when we did not pre-book any restaurant for Christmas eve dinner, and the different personalities that created a different group dynamics, Cole demonstrated his resourcefulness and high EQ in managing such crises. He was always so cheerful and nothing negative could rattle him. The final special mention about Cole's dedication to his group was when he joined some of us on our safari trip at Dubai when it was his rest day. He even brought a couple of us, upon our requests, to the New Year's eve count down at France on his rest day. Such was the extent of his care and dedication to his group.Tour managers are instrumental in setting the right tone for the trip. Having such dedicated and caring tour managers like Cole Tan helps to raise the positive image of the agency and bring in more interested customers. Last year’s June (June 2018), our family went on an Europe Tour with EU.We had the most excellent, helpful, caring and wise tour leader from EU - Shiqin.There were some unforeseen situations but Shiqin handled every situations very professional and well.Beautiful places, easy pace, nice accommodation and lovely food.The entire trip was so wonderful that we want to travel with them again.

I highly recommended to those who wants to travel to Europe. Everything was well planned by the tour guide - Jiafu. My family arrived in Europe first. I went there on a later date and he guided me very well and made sure I was able to safely meet up with them and the rest of the tour group. My family and I would not hesitate to have him as our tour guide again when we book a tour package under this travel agency. This is an aurora catching trip and our tour manager did his very best to ensure that everyone is updated on the KP and weather forecast. He took pictures for the tour members who are busy enjoying the activities and share these pictures with everyone. Not once did he lose his cool or patient with us. His jokes help to ease the long boring journey from places to places. Good job done , Joe. Hope we will have another chance to travel with you again.
