We have just returned from our trip to the Balkans with Ricky Woo as the Tour Manager and we would like to say that Ricky is a very dedicated, responsible and patient Tour Manager. With a group of 40 people from different walks of life, it was definitely not easy to manage and yet, he did not once show any discontent. But he showed professionalism and ensured that everyone’s needs were fulfilled (he evenensured that all our dietary requirements were met). He puts in his best to try to meet all our requirements. His instructions and explanations were clear and concise and he never failed to provide important reminders such as morning call timing, breakfast timing, departure timing, safety reminders, and weather updates. Even though there were many places to visit and some places took more time than expected, Ricky still tries his best to adjust the timing accordingly so that we get to experience more, without compromising the quality of the trip. With his good time management, the trip was a rather relaxing one (we don’t have to rush from one place to another and we covered everything). Other than being professional throughout the trip, Ricky also knows when to have fun with the people in the group. His outgoing personality made the trip especially fun!Overall, we had an awesome trip and we sincerely appreciate Ricky for all his hard work and dedication. Looking forward to having him lead the next trip that we’re going with EU Holidays!Thanks Ricky! :)

Just returned from the trip (12D9N Adventure to the Balkans+1N Venice) led by tour manager, Ricky Woo. Ricky was extremely patient with all 40 of us during our trip, rendering assistance ranging from providing spare travel adaptors to finding missing people, as well as paying close attention to elderly travellers. Ricky was also meticulous in ensuring that we got the special meals that we requested for and did not show the slightest discontent (even when our request was quite troublesome). The hardworking type, he provided reminders on a daily basis without fail, be it via whatsapp or in the coach, giving us weather updates, information on departure time, etc or briefing us on the places we were visiting.Thanks for making our trip a pleasant one, Ricky!

Ricky is a hard working and patient tour manager and trying his best to accommodate to member's request from power adapter to warm water supply, medicine or any issue faced by the tour members. He also share with us his life story and build a friendship with the tour members. Thanks Ricky for making our trip an enjoyable one.

This is my first trip to europe and had a wonderland holiday and white christmas. Shi qin is an experience tour guide and she has explained details of each countries history. She is a kind hearted and helpful person.Will come back again and hope to see her soon.

Enjoyed the trip thoroughly. Shiqin has been very patient throughout the entire trip. She is knowledgeable about the places we are visiting and would share some history about them. Shiqin would always give us reminders and tips to take care of our belongings.Throughout the trip, she was caring towards all the tour members especially members with kids and elderly couple. She has never leave anyone behind and she took extra effort to help the elderly Uncle up and down the bus.Overall, Shiqin is a very responsible and a caring tour manager who displayed empathy and patience throughout the entire trip even though there were a few tour members who were difficult to manage. Her well-planned time management with the coach drivers and her experience in handling a large group of tour members from different walks of life enabled us to fulfil all the traveling, dinning & sight-seeing destinations on time.

An awesome trip with a great itinerary and many optional tours available for add-ons. Ricardo, our tour manager planned well ahead and we had a marvelous time in Norway with him putting a smile on everyone’s faces every day with his funny antics and great sense of humor. It was a trip complete with sightings of the Aurora for every other activity, delicious food, great pictures taken and also friendship forged with fellow tour members. An unforgettable experience with EU! Thank you for helping me to tick off a big item on my bucket list. Highly recommended tour package for all who are into the Aurora Chase and truly breathtaking landscapes of Norway. �������

The tour was a great one for Aurora chasers, but it was made much, much better by our tour manager, Ricky. He was clear with his briefings and showed himself to be sensitive to the members' various needs. He was also very caring and prepared things to make the cold environment bearable to those of us who were more susceptible to the cold. More importantly, he took the extra effort to liven up the atmosphere and his joviality and positive energy really rubbed off on the members. EU has really done well to have a tour manager like Ricky.

This is my first solo trip and also my first tour with EU Holidays. Went on the trip with an open mind and didn't expect the trip to be delightfully fun and relaxing. Am really glad that the weather was unexpectedly kind to us throughout the trip.Tammy, our tour manager, constantly went the extra mile to ensure that the needs of all tour members were met and did not hesitate to flexibly adjust the itinerary based on weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances.We had an impromptu day trip to visit Pompeii, an ancient Roman town-city in Naples. As lunch was not included in this last-minute day trip, Tammy treated us all a free lunch at Hotel Vittoria, out of her pocket expense. Food was really good..the mussels served were great!Tammy ensured that special requests were being catered to, without causing disturbance to the tour programme. During some parts of the trip, long walks and climbs were part and parcel to fully appreciate the places of interest. Tammy made alternative arrangements for senior tour members who could not withstand prolonged walking.It was also exceptionally sweet of her, making special arrangements by surprising members who were celebrating their birthdays for the month.All in all, great local guides as all of them were really knowledgeable and a nice tour manager who made an effort to ensure a solo traveller like me doesn't feel left out in the trip.

I want to commend Ms KEK OOI LENG for her excellent customer service. She attended to me when I first made the booking and she listened to our 'complaints'. When we told her that we were disappointed that we couldn't get the free umbrellas, she was in the middle of leading her tour and said she would get back to us when she is back. I didn't expect her to remember but she really remembered and it was such a pleasant surprise to hear from her that she managed to get the umbrellas for us. It was a very nice gesture from her and we appreciate it. Hopefully next time we get a chance for her to be our tour manager for our future trips with EU Holidays.

Just would like to take this opportunity to highlight our satisfaction with the tour as well as our appreciation for Roger Koh for a job well done during our 10D7N Scenic Eastern Europe tour from 2 Dec - 11 Dec.The tour went pretty well in general. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves right from Day 2 when we reached Prague. The snowfall that we experienced that day, together with the buildings in Prague old town, made the entire scenery truly magical. Though we did not get to see anymore snowfall after that, the picturesque scenery in the other old towns like Hallstatt and Budapest still made the entire trip worthwhile and memorable.We also would like to commend our tour manager Roger Koh for his mammoth effort in ensuring that we enjoy our trip. From as early as 1 week before the start of our tour, Roger made the effort to set up a WhatsApp chat group with our group members to keep us updated on the things we need to know.During the tour, Roger used this chat group to keep us updated on important matters as well as to upload all photos he painstakingly took for each one of us throughout the trip on a daily basis - something that we truly appreciate.Throughout the trip, Roger was also tireless in making all of us feel at home. Indeed, he is one of the few tour managers we have encountered during our many package tours whom we feel has really gone beyond expectation to ensure that we all enjoyed our trip.To sum up how we feel, we really hope that EU Holidays will continue to provide good packages like this Eastern Europe one, and that someone like Roger can be assigned as our tour manager when we sign up for another tour package with EU Holidays.

I'm very glad to have joined EU holidays for my first trip to Europe and Dubai as I managed to visit many attractions and also had much shopping time during the trip. The tour manager, Kevin, was very well-informed and responsible as he often took the initiative to share with us shops and places that we could buy cheap and good souvenirs and food from, and he also meticulously arranged the roomings in different hotels every night so that everyone in the tour group was satisfied with their rooming arrangements. He also constantly made sure that everyone in the tour group was present when we arrive and before we left any place. As there were both English and Chinese speaking families in our tour group, Kevin made sure that he translated what he said so that everyone could understand. The local tour guides arranged to guide us were also very knowledgeable and helpful. For example, in Paris, the local tour guide alerted everyone to pickpockets walking beside us by shouting very loudly for us to beware, allowing members at the back of the group to also be alerted. I personally feel that more time could be spent in some of the places (like Brussels and Germany), as we were there for only a short while before leaving for another place but otherwise I was generally very impressed with the service provided by EU holidays. Will definitely consider to join EU again next time!

It is really winter wonderland! Enjoyed the planned activities very much. Really appreciate Whyee for her concern and assistance when she accompanied me (together with my travel mate) to the hospital after a fall at the Ranua Wildlife Park.

Though it was my first holiday with EU, I was already very impressed with our tour manager, Darien who was IT savvy to create a group chat to broadcast information and sharing of photos. Being a detailed person, Darien would also disseminate information on morning call, breakfast time and luggage loading time daily to avoid confusion. This is my first encounter with such a well organised and detailed tour manager to manage a big group of 34 people. The disorderly mess and chaos that I imagined never happened at all. In fact, Darien would always be the first one to greet us at the lobby each morning despite he never slept early at night and never even took a nap in the coach along the journey. I secretly asked him if he ever over slept? He confidently answered me that it would never happen. His strong work ethics made him a very responsible and disciplined person that put me to shame as I had yet to observe punctuality at work.Although he travelled widely, he never bragged about his holidays. Instead, he spoke of his travel experiences in his quiet and humble ways. There was so much to learn from Darien down to those basic things like showing appreciations to the coach captain, Marijan for the wait and delay. Darien would emphasise his thanks twice by saying "Marijan, thanks really!" to ensure Marijan heard him clear and loud. Such simple act of genuine appreciation revealed so much of Darien's kind and true personality! Our holidays with him would definitely be in safe hands.Being a thoughtful person, Darien also organised extra programmes at night to the Christmas market at Zadar and to the Western Quay to listen to the sea organ and to see the lights display at the Monument to the Sun. The feel and the mood of visiting these places at night and in the daytime was very much different.Although there were only 5 people who wanted to go for the optional tour to visit Salzburg Old Town which would not be made possible under normal circumstances, Darien did not disappoint us. He brought us there by tram and even showed us the filming site for "The Sound of Music ". Due to the time constraints, our tour was a bit rushing. But nevertheless, we never regretted our decision and of course, a big thank you to Darien for making it possible.Last but not the least, being a fun person, Darien organised a party for us at his own expense with snacks, drinks, beer and wine waiting for us. It was a good bonding time for us and we really had great fun especially with Ah Hia. It was a great time for all of us! It became the highlight for our Balkans holiday which was indeed memorable and unforgettable!Once again, many thanks to Darien for those everlasting memories! Darien is a fantastic and interesting tour manager who will be an important asset to EU! Happy birthday to you too!
